My planetary renderings seek to capture the awe, mystery, and wonder of the cosmos, illustrating what my eyes cannot directly see. I imagine the surface of distant planets or moons, showing alien terrains under strange skies. But, in trying to bridge the gap between science and imagination, I want it to be far more than just a visual exercise: these images are a dialogue between the known and the unknown – capturing my desire to explore, understand and connect with the universe.
This procedural planet setup is created in Blender. The clouds are a combination of procedural shaders and USGS satellite textures. Please, visit Artstation to see more space art of mine.
